One of comedy’s fastest rising stars is taking a big leap next year.

Jo Koy, 52, was just announced as the host of the 2024 Golden Globe Awards.

“I’ve stepped onto a lot of stages around the world in my career, but this one is going to be extra special,” Koy shared in a statement. “This is that moment where I get to make my Filipino family proud.”

And if you’ve always wanted to see the “Easter Sunday” star live, you can catch him midway through his recently extended ‘Funny is Funny World Tour’ from January through May 2024 featuring all new material.

Along the way, he’ll be making a pair of stops in New York.

First up, Koy is slated to drop into Verona’s Turning Stone Resort and Casino Event Center on Sunday, March 10. A little less than two weeks later, he’ll headline at Poughkeepsie’s MJ Nesheiwat Convention Center on Thursday, March 21.
